Songbooks and Course Books

Score Types

The Raymond Wise Choral Music Series offers two types of musical scores.  

Octavos (OCT): Professionally printed scores in the traditional choral sheet music size and style.  

Bulletin Size Scores (8x11): Scores Printed on 11' x 17" white paper, folded, and stapled.

SPECIAL NOTE:

All music is available in bulletin size scores. All music can be made available in octavos if 100 or more copies are ordered. Some selections are available in Song Book Collections (SBC). (VS) = Denotes scores that are presently available in a vocal score only. Piano/Vocal scores of these selections may require a 7-10 day waiting period.

The Doctoral Dissertation of Dr. Raymond Wise offers a decade by decade account of the history of gospel music from 1900 to 2000. It also provides an assessment of its meaning and relevance (2002).
